TBI Manufacturing Ltd

We carried out a survey of a commercial workshop and worked alongside Powrmatic to size a new heating system suitable for the customers requirements. Due to no gas supply in the premises we installed two 2500 litre bunded oil tanks and a two CPX cabinet Kerosene fired heaters.  Heaters come with their own built in energy saving controller and ERP rated fans. We installed a new stainless steel flue system and stainless steel oil supply pipe work to feed the heaters. All turned around promptly for our happy customer.

Denny Bros, Bury Saint Edmunds.

Working alongside Goodey Services we removed a failed SIME open flue boiler and lochinvar gas fired water heater and replaced with an Ideal Evomax 2 High Efficiency condensing gas boiler with BOSS unvented hot water cylinder. We also installed a low loss header complete with air/dirt separation. We removed the old flue dilution system and upgraded the heating controls with EPH wireless thermostats to enable zoning each part of the building. Also carried out insulation of pipe work and flush of system.

Selbourne Chambers, London

We were contacted by Selbourne Chambers to take a look at their current boilers as their heating had stopped working. They wanted to see if they can be repaired or if it would be financially beneficial to replace them. After attending site we found that boiler 2 had been capped off and parts had been removed and put onto boiler 1 to keep that going as they were no longer available. Boiler 1 required new thermocouples so we replaced them to get the back on.

We then provided a quotation to replace the current boilers with new high efficiency condensing Ideal Evomax 2 boilers, header/frame kits, plate heat exchanger, flues and new controls. Out of 3 quotations we were by far the lowest for what we were providing. Quote was approved and works were booked in for when the heating season was over.

We attended site, dismantled both boilers and removed them through a very tight loft hatch on the 5th floor. All new equipment was then lifted up through this loft hatch which was very tricky and heavy work!

The new boilers were then installed on their premanufactured frames, manifold and plate heat exchanger was then fitted and interconnecting pipe work. Interlocks with gas slam shut valve provided, new controls and links into current system. Pipework flushed, dosed and commissioned with new insulation.

All turned around in 7 days with minimal disruption. Another happy customer!

Stalok Terminals, Mistley

We were contacted by James at Stalok stating that their current service provided had condemned their warehouse warm air heater due to a cracked heat exchanger.

We were asked to provide a comparative quotation to replace the heater in which we turned around in record time and became the most competitive.

The customer was very happy and we received the order for the works a returned the following week to replace their heater with a Powrmatic CPxO Oil Fired heater.

Calor Gas, Saxham

Another one of our customers required their Byworth Steam Boiler to be stripped down and prepared for 5 Year NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and Annual Insurance Inspection.

We removed all sections of lagging where testing would be required, prepared the surfaces to remove surface rust/debris and cleaned ready for Inspector. We also removed all valves, manhole doors, safety valve, gauge cocks and water level sight glasses, re-packed all valves and painted. We also prepared the blowdown vessel for inspection. Boiler was stripped, prepared, inspected and re-assembled in 1 day to reduce downtime for our customer.

Boiler was warmed up overnight and back up to working pressure the following afternoon and put back into service. We also serviced the burner while the boiler was stripped down and re-commissioned the following day.
